Jim Schultz - Drums
Jim was the original drummer for the MOB and along with Steve
and George started the band through informal jam sessions in his
basement back in the winter of 1994. He is self taught and has
been playing drums since the age of 10. His versatile drumming
talent along with Paul's stylish bass playing created the solid
rhythm backbone for the MOB. He has since retired from the MOB
to pursue other interests but still however stays in touch with
the band. Jim's last chapter with the MOB is his drumming contribution
on the MOB's first full length CD and being the drummer for the
MOB during the January 2000 International Blues Challenge in Memphis,
Tennessee.
Quote from Jim:
"I've been in a lot of bands in my time but I have never
played behind a
nicer and more talented group of guys than the guys in the MOB.
The
talents, the playing styles, and the personalities kept this band
unique
and pleasant. Steve, George, Paul and John, thank you for everything.
It was
a soul filling experience that I will never forget for as long
as I live."
